Where do we begin with this amazing couple? Jessie and James have been coming to the farm for such a long time and we were over the moon when James approached us to help host a surprise engagement for Jessie in our beautiful flower meadow.
We jumped at this incredible opportunity to help make their day perfect. James had all the ideas and what he wanted to achieve, and we just helped pull this all together. We set up a table on the private wedding lawn so James should walk Jessie through the flowers and pop the question once they got to the private lunch set up!
We made sure this was all captured for them and hid in the herb garden in the hedge and waited for James to go down on one knee and then we captured this magical moment on camera. The sun was shining and the butterflies fluttering around the flowers.
Just a magical moment and one we will treasure forever. We then flooded them with beautiful food and drinks and congratulated them on this very special moment. Fast forward 2 years and we had the absolute pleasure of having Jessie and James get married with us here at the white barn!
From start to finish the wedding was a dream to plan with them, fun ideas from the Jurassic Park jeep to actual alpacas! So much fun to be had all day and it was full of love and celebration for these soul mates.
Dani was the planner for their wedding, making all their inspirational dreams come to fruition and being part of this journey from engagement to wedding day. A very emotional story and one we will cherish here forever.

The colour scheme was oranges and autumnal tones, incorporating the stunning florals by Jessie’s Sister Bea, from Bee Floral. The arrangements, bouquets and more complimented the day perfectly and brought together all the autumn vibes and pumpkins!
Jessie’s dress was adorned with delicate embellishments, creating an elegant and classic look. It fitted Jessie’s like a glove, and it was made for her in every way. Such a dreamy dress that we can’t forget and always swoon over. This dress was from the wonderful Eleanor Florence Bridal.
Jessie used our beautiful Aurora and Astral Suite the morning of the wedding in our Moondown spa. This space allowed Jessie’s incredible MUA Lisa Want and Hair stylist Elizabeth Jarrett to work their magic. The spaces filled with the early October light and made for a relaxing and memorable space to get ready for the biggest day of your life.
Their cake was a treat! Made lovingly by Love My Cake Somerset. Another wonderful somerset-based wedding supplier.
This day will be one we will always look back at and the photos are just insane. Here are a few to cast your eyes over but we promise to share more on our socials of this dream of a day.
